I read about Zaadz in Alternatives Magazine and am excited to be here. What a great forum! I'm enthused about becoming more familiar with the forum and other members.

I was divorced in 2006 after 12 years of marriage. My family consists of two black cats named named Lady and Katie (who had both been in a shelter for years) and an amazing circle of family, friends and colleagues all over this country and outside. I grew up on a farm in South Dakota (think Little House on the Prairie; I'm Laura), lived in Phoenix, AZ for 3 1/2 years after graduating from college, and have been in Oregon since 1990. The climate in the Pacific NW wows me!

I'm a professional writer and facilitator (www.wishweavers.com) and work as a claims professional for a wonderful insurance company!
